In 1938, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor commissioned the Paris decorating firm Maison Jansen to furnish their four-story apartment in the sixteenth arrondissement. Directed by Stéphane Boudin, the project reflected the firm’s distinctive approach, combining historical references with richly appointed interiors.
