We have sought to record changes in the condition of this lot acquired after its initial manufacture. - There is some slight surface wear overall consistent with lacquer of this age, including some restoration to the edges and corners, small scratches, rubbing, oxidation and small losses of silver at the edges of petals. - The gilt-copper fittings with rubbing to gilt. - The base with scratches and rubbing, consistent with being placed. - The interiors with slight wear, including small surface dents, rubbing, and tiny losses of silver hiramaki-e.
