Decorated in gold, silver, red and black hiramaki-e, togidashi, hirame, kirikane, keuchi, and kimpun against a roiro ground with a waterfall cascading through rocks, a cherry blossom tree overhanging, the inside of the cover with a bridge over a river shrouded in mist and wind-scattered maple leaves, a boatsman ferrying bundles of brushwood, two pine trees overhanging, autumn maple and pine trees in the distant hills, the interiors with dense clusters of mura-nashiji, fundame rims, fitted lacquer insert with slate inkstone and silvered-copper water droppper in the form of a blossoming plum tree
