The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- Each bowl has some scattered areas of restored rim chips with infill and associated areas of overpainting.
- One bowl has two large sections with extensive overspraying, covering approx. 1/3. of the bowl.
- There is some surface wear, including rubbing and light scratches to the enamels and iron-red decoration.
