The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this lot acquired after its initial manufacture.
- The first with some surface wear including rubbing, light dents to the top case, and small losses of gold foil. The interiors with a few minute chips to rims, and the edge of the rim of the bottom case with a slight crack.
- The second with some surface wear overall, including a few small chips, light rubbing, and losses to hirame. The interiors with slight old wear including chips, slight cracks, rubbing, and some residue to the rims and interiors.
