A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall very good condition. Beechwood surfaces present with some wear concentrated to the arms and consistent with intended use, and very faint surface scratches and indentations, consistent with age and gentle use. Very minor wear to finish on brass buttons, and some looseness to buttons yet structurally stable. Fabric upholstery presents with some white marks, and loose threads, only visible upon close inspection.
