Overall in good condition. Wood surfaces have been professionally and sensitively revarnished and present with some light surface scratches, minor scuffing, and scattered areas of discoloration and dents, consistent with age and use. The veneer of the seat with two hairline cracks from front to back with some minor residue running along the cracks on the underside, and a few small losses to the veneer, consistent with age and gentle use. Stool is overall structurally stable. An iconic design by Pierre Chareau.
