The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In overall good condition consistent with age and use. The shade with a highly artistic color palette, glass selection and generous use of confetti glass. Aperture ring is slightly loose and with evidence of some resoldering to its interior. The leading otherwise with good original patina throughout. The shade displays a wonderful variety of types of glass. As this is an early example, a few of the white/pink petals exhibit minor age related stress cracks or signs of surface devitrification. Approximately 32 additional tiles with a tight crack. The base is in overall fine condition with all original parts. There is a minor stress mark towards the center of the arms near the shaft but the supports are stable. The patinated bronze surfaces original with light wear and gentle rubbing. Heat cap is a reproduction. The lamp has been rewired and is fully functioning. It is, however, offered as a decorative object.
