In overall very good condition consistent with age and sensitive use. The shade has approximately eight cracked tiles around the lower border, some of which exhibit traces of old repairs. There are a few additional cracks around the body of the shade, which is to be expected. All are old and none are distracting to the overall appearance. The color palette is quite nice and more vivid in person than it appears in the catalogue illustration. The telescopic base is in excellent condition with a lovely warm brown patina with hints of green and red. All elements appear to be original and fully functioning. The heat cap is original. The shade and base are an extremely harmonious pairing and the lamp presents handsomely. The lamp has been rewired.
