Born in Sichuan, now residing in Hong Kong, Ko Nam received training in Chinese painting from a young age. Motivated by a deep love for life and the beauty of nature, he depicts rivers, mountains and villages with earthy tones and intricate brushstrokes. His art transports the viewer to the tranquil luxuriant countryside. From cultivated fields and pellucid ponds to grazing livestock and idling ducks Ko delivers serenity and relief, offering glimpses into his silent world.
