QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There are some natural flaws on the mouth rim with associated cracks that have been stablised.
- There are some refreshed patches to the interior.
- The removable base plug is a later replacement which is not uncommon to find.
- There are minor chips, nicks and surface wear to the edges and extremities, consistent with age and use as can be expected. Some have been stabilised.

-Prospective purchasers are advised that several countries prohibit the importation of property containing materials from endangered species, including but not limited to coral, ivory, tortoiseshell and crocodile. Accordingly, prospective purchasers should familiarize themselves with relevant customs regulations prior to bidding if they intend to import this lot into another country

This item can only be shipped to addresses within Hong Kong or collected from our Hong Kong saleroom and office unless a CITES re-export permit is granted.
