The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-The surface, edges and extremities of both boxes and covers show wear, scattered old nicks, dents, scratches and age cracks which are consistent with age and use.
-There is a reattached chip to the rim of one cover, measuring approx. 2.8 cm. wide.
-There is a repaired patch to the interior of one cover, measuring approx. 0.1x1.8 cm.
-All the game pieces have minute breaks or nicks from use.
-Otherwise in good overall condition.

-Prospective purchasers are advised that several countries prohibit the importation of property containing materials from endangered species, including but not limited to coral, ivory, tortoiseshell and crocodile. Accordingly, prospective purchasers should familiarize themselves with relevant customs regulations prior to bidding if they intend to import this lot into another country.
-This item is made of a type of Dalbergia wood which is subject to CITES export/import restrictions since 2 January 2017. This item can only be shipped to addresses within Hong Kong or collected from our Hong Kong saleroom and office unless a CITES re-export permit is granted.
