The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture
-A few nails are missing and some of them are later replacements.
-A small section of the gilt-metal frame of the one at the lower left corner is missing, measuring approx. 1 cm. wide
-There is surface wear, minor warping and age cracks to the wood frame which are consistent with age and use.
-There are chips and nicks to the edges and extremities of the frame.
-There are areas with expected enamel losses, some of which have been filled in with wax.
-There are black spots on the mirror which are consistent with age and use.
