The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged with paper tape in the reverse upper corners to the underlying mount. The work is executed on the verso of a page from a poetry album. The left edge is unevenly cut. The vertical egdes are deckled. The sheet undulates slightly. There is are soft folds to the upper corners, due to the hinging. There is a horizontal fold towards the left vertical edge. The sheet is slightly discoloured. There are some soft handling nicks in places.
