NOTE:
Xie Gongzhan (1875-1940), also known as Shou, was a native of Jiangsu Province. He was a Chinese Modern and Contemporary Painter, who was a professor in schools including Private Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts and Nanjing University of the Arts. Xie was famous for Flower-and-bird, Fish, and Insects paintings, specially in depicting chrysanthemum.
