etching, circa 1510-20, on laid paper, without watermark, a good impression of the second, final state, with the number of the Nuremberg publisher David Funck, printed in the 17th century, with margins, in very good condition

The German inscription on the banderole, "GIB FRID" means 'give peace', but it is ambiguous whether it is the women shouting at the devil or the devil begging to be left alone.
