The Triumph of Amor
engraving, 1545, on laid paper, watermark Crossbow in a Circle with Fleur-de-Lys, a fine impression of the only state, published by Tommaso Barlachi, Rome, with thread margins or trimmed on the platemark, retaining a fillet of blank paper outside the borderline on all sides, with the usual vertical central fold partially broken through and repaired, a couple of short, skilfully repaired tears at the sheet edges, generally in good condition
Plate and Sheet 283 x 402 mm.
