The base is in overall good condition. Patina is reddish/brown with hints of green. It is a bit rubbed and worn, particularly around the circular foot, and there are a couple of very small losses to the patina of the "ball". Miniscule white paint flecks are scattered about. One tiny screw around the socket lacks its head as does one of the larger screws below the light switch. This outer perimeter is missing a screw. Electrical components have not been tested, and should be examined by a qualified electrician prior to any intended use.
