Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Gouache and pen and ink on wove paper. Partially watermarked at the lower left. The edges lined with mounting tape, attached to a mount window at the reverse. The artist's pinholes at the corners and intermittently at the extreme edges in places with one or two associated nicks to the sheet and a tiny paper loss at the lower right corner. The lower left corner with a faint water stain. Some light- and mount-staining. The surface of the gouache with a few faint scuffs and one or two tiny poinpoint losses in places. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
