The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Brush and India ink on card. Free-floating. The left edge is unevenly cut, presumably inherent to the support from the time of execution. Faint surface frottage to the underlying sheet in places, presumably due to the artist's method. Some light-staining. Some flattened creases towards the upper and lower edges and corners of the sheet. Minor surface dirt. The ink is bold and strong. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
