拍品的状况可能存在极大差异，而由于其性质使然，拍品难以处于完美无瑕的状态。拍品均以拍卖时的状况出售。

Oil on canvas. Examined out of the frame. On close inspection, there are some hairline cracks in the yellow pigment in the lower left corner. There are a few further hairline cracks in the upper half of the composition. There is some evidence of minor frame abrasion to the extreme edges, consistent with a previous housing. When examined under ultraviolet light, there are a few spots of fluorescence to the extreme edges that correspond to the aforementioned frame abrasion.  There is a further small area of fluorescence in the lower right quadrant. Subject to the above, this work appears to be in very good overall condition.
