This relined canvas is held under tension and remains stable. In raking light, restorations are visible in the background and in the upper right of the girl’s head. Ultraviolet examination reveals extensive restoration in the girl’s face, with extensive infilling of the craquelure and isolated restorations to damages to the background to the right. There is further extensive restoration throughout.
