A copy after a drawing showing the artist's wife, Rosa, in the Witt Collection at the Courtauld Gallery (inv. D.1952.RW.1511; A. Mariuz, , Milan, 1982, no. D13, ill.). Another drawing showing Rosa, dated to 1742 by George Knox, is in the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne (see G. Knox, , exhib. cat., Washington, D.C., 1983, no. 31, ill.).
