Each painting has been relined and retain a good tension on their support. The paint surfaces have been slightly flattened by the relining treatment but both pictures present well overall. There is some evidence of surface scuffing to each. One painting with a very minor loss to the paint surface at the end of one leaf and the other painting has a minor section of paint shrinkage to the upper left. Each with some minor discoloured retouchings visible to the naked eye. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals that the darker areas of the background and the leaves have been strengthened. Each in a giltwood frame in good condition.
