The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is laid down on card in an original arrangement and tipped into a supporting sheet and hinged into a non-acidic mount. The sheet is in good overall condition but there are some small losses to the gum arabic, particularly in the foreground. The colours are strong and fresh and the sheet reads well.
