Overall in good decorative order with some wear and flaking to enamels, some very small rim chips, slight surface scratching and occasional abrasion. This is a composite service and the plates and bowls all vary slightly in shape and decoration.
One two-handled oval soup-tureen and cover -- The tureen with two small flat-chip to sides. The cover with a restored break to one end, with some associated overpainting. One circular vegetable-dish and cover -- in good decorative order. Two large circular serving-dishes in sizes -- One example with a large star-shaped hairline crack to the centre, and two further small hairline cracks to the rim, and a restored chip to the underside of the rim, with evidence of old filler. The other example in good order. One large oval serving-dish -- in good decorative order. One salad-bowl -- With one small hairline crack running down from the rim. Otherwise in good order. Ten dinner-plates -- in good decorative order. Six soup-plates -- One example with a small chip to the foot rim. The rest on good order Thirteen luncheon-plates Fourteen side-pates -- One example with a crack to the glaze on the underside. Otherwise in good order. Six circular cake-plates -- Two examples with star-shaped hairline cracks to the centre and two with rim chips. Two lobed cake-plates -- in good decorative order. Seven canted square cake-plates -- in good decorative order. Five bowls in sizes -- One example with a small chip to the rim, another with a small chip to the foot rim. The others in good order. Two teapots in sizes -- One example with a minute chip to the tip of the spout. The other with a small chip to the rim and the underside of the cover. One tea caddy and cover -- The cover with a small chip to the rim, with evidence of an old restoration. Otherwise in good order. One very small milk-jug -- with chip to rim. Five teacups and one saucer -- One example with a crack through the base of the handle, but still secure. The others in good order. The saucer with minute rim chip. One shaped bowl -- The base with a drilled hole. Otherwise in good order.
