The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Vauquois Winter
Neutral hued image on semi-gloss double weight paper with margins. Bumping to corners, the lower corners each with minor losses, light soiling and soft creases throughout the margins, and two tiny tears (approx. 2 and 4mm.) along lower edge, none affecting image area. Minor silver mirroring in the darks, two soft crimps (approx 2 and 4cm.) in the lower right quadrant, occasional light linear abrasions (no emulsion loss) scattered throughout, all visible only in raking light and under close inspection. Overall in very good condition.

Laughing Boxes
Neutral hued image on semi-gloss paper trimmed to edge and mounted on board. Tiny accretion and minor surface indentation/scuff near image center, visible only in raking light. This print fluoresces in UV light. Overall in excellent condition.

View in Winter VI
Neutral hued image on semi-gloss double weight paper with marrow margins. One light crease (approx. 5cm.) in center of upper image portion, visible in raking light. Tiny area of flaking (approx. 2mm.) along lower right edge, within margins, not affecting image. Overall in excellent condition.
