The tanto mounted in a fine lacquer scabbard decorated in gold and silver lacquer with roundels in various sizes, applied with silver fittings, the dagger with a shin-no-kurikara of Mikkyo Buddhism (carving of a dragon entwining a vajra-hilted double-edged sword) and with signature Naonobu
