A LACQUERED-WOOD FIGURE OF SEISHI BOSATSU
15TH - 16TH CENTURY
Carved from cypress wood as a standing Seishi Bosatsu, the figure dressed in flowing robes with scarf around the left shoulder, the hair gathered up into a high coiffure, the inlaid crystal eyes painted with black pupils ringed in red
18 1/8 in. (46 cm.) high
