The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Generally in good overall condition for the age except some minor surface wear, scratches, wormholes, and spots.

Right screen:
Panel 2 (Right to left)
-One tear on the gold ground at the right edge of the middle section as can been seen in the catalogue illustration (5½in. long approx.). One tiny tear on the gold ground at the upper left section (¼in. long approx.).
Panel 3
-Few mirrored wormholes on the hinge of upper left corner of panel 3 and upper right corner of panel 4.
Panel 4
-One tear on the gold ground at the edge near from upper left corner (2½in. long approx.)

Left screen:
Panel 2
-Three tears on the right edge (3in. long approx. each).
Panel 3
-Few mirrored wormholes on the hinge of lower left side of panel 3 and lower right side of panel 4.
Panel 4
-One tear on the gold ground at the left side of middle section near the leaves (2in. long approx.).
Panel 5
-Some mirrored wormholes on the hinges of left side of middle to lower section of penal 5 and right side of middle to lower section of panel 6.
