Holiday postcards to the Einstein family. The collection comprises:
Ten postcards addressed to Maja Einstein, including two from her future husband Paul Winteler (one bearing an autograph greeting signed by her brother Albert Einstein), sending her his love during a trip to Ulm with Albert in December 1898 - January 1899. The other correspondents include Ludwig Birseck (an American pen-pal, 3 cards), Annie Nopper and unidentified friends in Aarau and elsewhere, [postmarks 10 January 1898 - 31 July 1900];
Five autograph postcards to Hermann Einstein signed by Maja Einstein (one jointly with her mother Pauline, one with Prof. Jost Winteler), Zurich, Zug and Aarau, [postmarked 17 August 1898 - 9 September 1901];
Three postcards addressed to Pauline Einstein, from Elisabeth Roscher (2) and an unidentified friend, 19 March 1898 - 27 July 1901
One postcard addressed to all the inhabitants of the Hotel Paradies in Mettmentsetten, from Julie Koch (sister of Pauline Einstein), Basel, 10 August 1901.
