'I cannot come before Thursday, by the train which reaches Bern at about 10 o'clock and I will stay until 2. With cordial greetings to you all / Your Albert'. The postcard is addressed to Besso at the federal patent office, where Einstein himself had worked with Besso at the time of his annus mirabilis of 1905.
