A collection of 6 reference works from Hawkings library, 2 of them presented to Hawking. Comprising:

III with spine sunned, djs to vols II and III price-clipped but with price labels on front flap). Stillman Drake. Galileo at work. His scientific biography. Chicago: 1978. Octavo ( 228 x 148mm). (Tiny marginal stain affecting last 60pp.) Publisher’s light-blue cloth, dustjacket (this latter with a few tears and light wear).
