The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvas has been lined. There is a network of very fine craquelure throughout. Upon inspection under UV light, there are a few small dots scattered throughout the sky of inpainting. There is a small area of inpainting approximately 3“ x 2“ to the left of the young girl with the dog at center right. There are a few small areas on the back of and near the crouching figure in foreground at right.
