The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is in excellent condition and presents well. The stone with natural inclusions are porous areas. There is a light layer of surface dirt at the high points of the wings and hair and in the crevices. Two spots of infill of the proper left of forehead. A small scuff on the upper portion of proper right thigh and a nick on the lower proper right thigh. Reattachment of the second toe on the left foot. The sculpture adhered to the base at the bottom of the grass. Two spots of infill near the base at right side. Reattachment of a tip of foliage on the left side.
