The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The surface is stable. The canvas has an old glue re-line. There is a yellowed varnish overall. There is thin craquelure in the branches the trees and a few other lines throughout. Under UV light inspection, there is an area of retouching in the extreme lower right corner. There is possible retouching in the rocks at left not clearly visible through the varnish.
