The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvas is lined. There is scuffing to the edges due to frame abrasion. Inspection under UV reveals scattered small single touches of inpainting to the horse, as well as inpainting in the proper right side of the rider's coat. There is inpaint to the upper right edge as well as three small areas in the blue of the sky extending out from this point.
