The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work is restored and could easily be hung in its current state. It is well framed. Under ultraviolet light, there are half a dozen retouches visible across the top edge, and a few small dots in some of the most transparent colors in the riverbank in the lower left. Some of the profiles of the largest trees on the right show slightly stronger under ultraviolet light and to the naked eye, but this seems to be original to the artist’s technique. The work should be hung in its current state.
