The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The surface is stable. The canvas is unlined. There is separation in wood cradling the canvas at the corners. Under UV light inspection, there are retouches on the extreme right and left edges to address frame abrasion. There is a retouch about 1 inch wide on the extreme left edge to address a paint loss. There background beneath the proper right arm of the standing figure at right has retouching. There are areas of retouching in floor in the lower right corner, not on the signature.
