Passing Salutations

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The surface is stable and clean. The canvas is glue relined. There is minor scuffing along the extreme lower edge. Under UV light inspection, there is retouching along extreme right edge and more minor retouches along the other extreme edges to address frame abrasion. There are a few short thin lines of retouching near the upper left corner, one in the sky between the boats. There are arshort thin lines of retouching around the right most boat in the area just left of the right mast and in the sky to the right of the boat. There is a one and a half inch by one inch area of inpainting in the sky to the right of the masts of the left boat. There is a spot of retouching in the lower left corner beneath the signature.
