The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The surface is stable and the canvas has been relined with a non-wax adhesive. There is minor scuffing to the extreme edges due to frame abrasion. There is a slight scuff in the bushes in the upper right quadrant. Under UV light, there is are two small areas of retouching in the upper quadrant. There are small touches in the tree on the left and foreground. The rock under the dog on the right has been touched. Along the upper edge from the center to the tree, there is a bluer tint, possibly the result of a cleaning. There is light retouching to the extreme edges to address frame abrasion.
