The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is unlined and there is surface dirt present. There is a overall layer of yellowed varnish. There are pinholes in the upper left and lower right corners which are not visible when in the frame. There is minor frame abrasion at the edges. Under UV light inspection there is an area of inpainting within the white stone closest to the lower edge at lower right. There is an area of inpainting in the white tile closest to the lower edge at right.
