First edition, a fine copy in the first issue dust jacket. O'Hara's famous first book details the three-day disintegration of Julian English in the fictional Gibbsville, Pennyslvania. Publisher's presentation with bookplate of Elmer Adler, founder of the Pynson Printers. Acknowledgements slip tipped in before dedication page. "Recent Fiction" featured on rear panel of dust jacket.
