BRADBURY, Ray (1920-2012). Fahrenheit 451. New York: Ballantine Books, 1953.

First edition, limited issue, number 49 of 200 copies signed by Bradbury and specially bound in Johns Manville Quinterra. Fahrenheit 451 was first published as a paperback by Ballantine Books in October 1953. Later the same year the publisher issued 200 copies signed by the author and bound in boards covered in Quinterra Electrical Insulation, a chrysotile asbestos manufactured by Johns Manville and used for its fire-retardant properties.
