    Signed photographs by Akhmatova are rare at auction: no examples are recorded as having been sold on ABPC or RBH. By the early 1960s, Akhmatova had been to a degree rehabilitated in Soviet public life, and was increasingly acclaimed as one of the last great Silver Age figures.
