Sending 'two chapters' of a work in progress. 'Here are the two chapters – we now await the continuation. – It is urgent. – I need to see you. – Can you come on Monday at a time that suits you. A word in reply'.

Turgenev's request for 'the continuation' implies that he is correcting proofs.
