Tourguéne[ff] / Bougival / 1876.’ This publication gathers five short stories, each previously published in French in Le Temps magazine. Waddington and Montreynaud 53.

12mo (175 x 110mm). Half-title. Contemporary red quarter pebble-grain cloth over boards (spine lightly faded); housed in modern cloth slipcase. Provenance: Émile Augier (1820-1889, French dramatist; inscription from the author on half-title) – sold Paris, Ader Nordmann, 29 Nov 2016, lot 143.
