In Russian. In pencil, 16 lines on 1½ pages, 219 x 167mm, a draft with a number of cancellations and emendations.

'I knew only loyalty without conditions'. Published with the title 'Usloviya' ('Conditions'): 'It was a quiet evening and spring. / The stars shone for us lovingly. / You told me: I am faithful, / But – not unconditional loyalty'. The present draft includes an additional second and fourth stanza which are apparently unpublished.
