The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.

-There are insect holes and mould throughout the painting and the mounting;
-heavy folding lines and tears can be observed, especially in the center pf the painting;
-there is colour-loss in the top left-hand corner and in the lower center;
-the work is in overall good condition.

-There is mould throughout the surface, especialy in the upper left quadrant and bottom right-hand corner;
-insect holes can be observed near the left edge of the painting and on the mounting;
-there are multiple fold lines due to the nature of the format;
-the work is in overall good condition.
