Lin Hukui, born in Jieyang, Guangdong province, studied paintings under Liang Boyu (1903-1978) and later Zhao Shao’ang (1905-1998). Lin is famous for his flower and bird and animal paintings. Since 1978, he has held solo exhibitions all over the world, and many works have been collected by museums, well-known institutions or private collections.
